Merum Reserve Chardonnay 2022

TASTING NOTES

Vineyard Location:  Selected vineyards in Denmark, Mount Barker and Frankland River, Great Southern.

Appearance: A brilliant yellow straw colour with youthful steely green tinges.

Aroma:  A complex, cool climate Chardonnay displaying enticing aromas of nectarine and rock melon fruit complemented by nutty, savoury barrel ferment characters and toasty, vanillin French oak.

Palate: Ripe stone fruits are balanced by a more savoury mid palate of nutty barrel ferment characters leading to a finish of vibrant grapefruit and spicy French oak.

Variety:  100% Chardonnay

Maturation:  12 months on French oak

Alcohol:  14.0% Vol

Contains sulphites.
