These lemonade scones are quick and easy, perfect for a morning or afternoon tea and extra delicious when served with our Vinofood boysenberry and shiraz jam or sparkling strawberry jam.
Lemonade Scones
- 2 cups self raising flour
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- ½ cup thickened cream
- ½ cup lemonade
- 2 tbsp milk

Pre-heat oven to 220°C.

Combine sifted flour and sugar in a large bowl with a pinch of salt. Gently stir in cream and lemonade and mix into a dough.

Turn out onto floured bench and press until 2cm thick. Cut out and place on tray and brush with milk.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve with a pot of tea or coffee, a big dollop of cream and boysenberry and shiraz jam or sparkling strawberry jam.
