This Middle Eastern classic is brought to life when matched with our Vinfood Onion, Thyme & Red Wine Jam, stir through for a quick dip or serve on a platter with some toasted flat bread for a middle eastern treat!
Onion Jam Hummus
- 400 gm Chickpeas (tinned)
- 2 tbsp Tahini paste
- 200 ml Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 each Lemon
- 2 tbsp Vinofood Onion, Thyme & Red Wine Jam

Place chick peas, tahini paste, olive oil and the juice and zest of lemon.

Puree until smooth (you may need to add some water to get ciorrect consistency).

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with Vinofood Onion, Thyme & Red Wine Jam (or stir through hummus) and warm flat bread.
