TASTING NOTES

Vineyard Location: The Lake House Denmark’s estate vineyard in Denmark, Great Southern.

Appearance: A brilliant, fresh straw yellow with hints of mushroom pink.

Aroma: A vibrant and complex bouquet of honeysuckle, green apple and strawberry complemented by biscuity, fresh-baked bread and classic savoury and creamy yeast autolysis characters.

Palate: A fine mousse supports a long crisp finish. Traditional flavours of ‘strawberries and cream’ flavours are balanced by vibrant cool climate citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon with hints of more tropical melon and savoury biscuit on the mid-palate.

Variety: Chardonnay (65%), Pinot Noir (35%)

Maturation: Matured in bottle for 36 months on its lees.

Alcohol: 13.5% Vol

Contains sulphites. Produced with isinglass (fish product). Traces may remain.
